Here I am, talking about it in the present tense. This past week has been one of the hardest weeks of my life. A family member of mine very unexpectedly passed, which is absolutely shocking and devasting. I do not know what to do. I have no motivation or energy, and I just want to go back and give that family member a hug. I want to talk to them about music and sports. But I can’t, so I feel helpless. And I know that so many of you are going through the same things and feeling the same way. I want to let you know that it is completely normal to not be okay, and that I am always here for you. I want my account to be a space where everyone is welcome. I hope it can bring you joy and make you smile. But, I do not want to be fake on here. So much of what we see on social media is fake. It’s the highlights of people’s lives. It’s the moments of happiness and joy and laughter. But this isn’t the case. This TikTok is absolutely real. I love you guys so much and I want to tell you to give your loved ones a hug and tell them that you love them. Respect your parents and make the most of the time with your friends and family. I know that by me posting this, I am going to get a lot of support and kind words. I am so lucky and privileged to have you all. But many people feeling the same way and going through the same thing do not have this privelage. So remind the people around you that you support them. It can make a huge difference in someone’s life. Again, I love you all❤️
