My speciality sourdough loaf for January was Tumeric & black pepper! If you try turmeric and black pepper I recommend just adding 3-5g of turmeric per loaf (depending on how pronounced you want the flavor) and just a sprinkle of black pepper. It doesn’t take much! You can also just mix the turmeric & pepper in when first combining the ingredients, or add in during the stretch and folds to get a marbled look if preferred. I only did it this way for the video. Here is a basic sourdough loaf recipe if you need it: 500 bread flour 100g active starter 355g water 10g salt 5g turmeric & a sprinkle of black pepper! I highly recommend trying this loaf with a curry dish. I paired this loaf with coconut chicken curry and I think it’s going to be a regular staple for me, it was SO good together!
