GROWING FOOD IN OUR APARTMENT! 🌱 Like this video if you want to grow food in your home! 🌿 After seeing this vertical farm inside of a supermarket in Sweden, we wanted to see if we could grow food in our own flat in London! We got ourselves three Auk Mini’s and over the last 2 months we’ve been testing out a variety of plants! From herbs like basil, parsley and chives, to veggies like peas, tomatoes and sweet peppers. We’re even testing out strawberries! There’s something so satisfying about seeing those small seeds come alive! The Auk’s beautiful Scandinavian design features a hydroponic system and LED lights which take care of everything. All you need to do is plant your seeds, refill the water and nutrients every couple of weeks and adjust the light's height as the plant grows. The LED strip light is super efficient, and has cost us less than £1 a month in energy usage. Living in a small apartment without a garden, we’ve always dreamed of growing our own food.
