How do we quote our lawn mowing rates? It’s simple. There’s a video on my page about this topic, but here’s a short breakdown: Two guys, two mowers, each at $75 an hour. That $75 an hour is the time spent physically working (trimming, mowing, blowing) on the clients property. 9 times out of 10 we are unloading both mowers, but even if we don’t, we still account for a two man hourly rate which is $150. If a lawn takes one hour from gate down to gate up, we will charge $150. If it takes 45 minutes it’s $112.50, 30 minutes it’s 75, and so on. These numbers shown are ballpark. We charge credit card on file with a 3% fee, so nothing is down to the cent and some are off by a dollar or two, but you should still be able to understand our process. What if a lawn takes longer than our original quote? We kindly ask our client to adjust pricing, but that rarely ever happens.
