Our honest review of Hawkes Farm- Best chips in Victoria?! farm to table!? Award winning chippies? Wild take but let’s take a 2 hour trip down to the Mornington peninsula and see if it’s worth the hype OK I do need to give it to them, these were real fresh, and CHONKY, hand cut, and came in generous servings. BUT unfortunately, they were a little underwhelming given the hYPE (Not their fault RE the crazy expectations) and found it nothing too special, We also tried the croque monsieur veggie version, with mushrooms, onions, cheese, béchamel, however it was too oily and heavy for all of us, I personally am a chicken salt crispy or soft chippie gal, but this was a little too salty The area is very cute, spacious outdoor seating area, with a sandpit and fire pit, good vibes perfect for all ages The coleslaw baked potatoes were also available to purchase, which was nice and soft, again very heavy and overpowering for all of us to finish I’d say the chips were the best out of the hot food they had This is Hawkes Farm, food is only available on weekends, lots of fresh produce and local products, good vibes, but I’d only visit again if in the area, happy happy days 📍 661 Boneo Rd, Boneo VIC 3939 #melbournechips #hawkesfarm #bestchips #victoriaroadtrip #victoriafoodie
