you never know what someone is battling. the past three months have been nothing but a rollercoaster of emotions. losing someone is never easy. let me preface that a healthy breakup is HARD. caring for someone and wanting the best for someone is harder then i could ever imagine. because my significant other is still my best friend. but this post is to remind someone. anyone. that it is OKAY to still hurt. it is OKAY to be happy and then to fall back into sadness. it is OKAY to reach out to someone if you are struggling. these past three months i’ve never felt more scared about the future of my life but I also have never been more in touch with who I am and what God is calling me to do. I’m learning that it is okay to be alone. you do not have to surround yourself with people all of the time to be happy. i’m learning about self care. i’m building new friendships. i’m taking a step out of my comfort zone when it comes to new things. I’m learning to put God in the steering wheel of my life. It may not always be easy. but that’s why it’s called a learning experience! To those of you have lost someone. a family member, a friendship, a relationship, a pet, etc. know that it WILL get better. know that it WILL still ache. but you are beautifully and wonderfully made and God has a plan for you. the sadness will dim. trust in his process 🤍🌟
