Preheat the oven to 350°F. Line an 8x8-inch baking pan with parchment paper on all sides. Set aside. 2. In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the melted butter and brown sugar until smooth. 3. Whisk in the egg, extra yolk, and vanilla until fully combined. 4. Add the flour, baking powder, and salt. Fold with a silicone spatula until no flour streaks remain. 5. Gently fold in the chopped candy bars. 6. Scrape the batter into the prepared pan, spread evenly to the edges. 7. Bake 25–30 minutes, until edges are set and top is golden brown. The center should look slightly underbaked. 8. Cool the pan completely on a rack before slicing into 9 large or 16 small bars. Enjoy.
