The Brayons (people from Edmundston) makes them often to accompany a chicken stew, beans, a bouilli de viande salée or on its own. But really ployes can be eaten with anything and anytime of the day. A ploye looks like a pancake or crêpe but not really. It kinda have a yellow/green color. It’s only cooked on one side. It’s very cheap and easy to make. The recipe varies from family to family and is handed down through generations.
